Cambridge Junior Squash

Cambridge Junior Squash program delivers a fun environment to play and learn squash but also ensures there is a clear development pathway for those wanting to progress into competitive play. As such we run three sessions throughout the week:

Performance Squad

Thursdays - 6:15-7:15pm

This new squad will take those juniors who are serious about progressing their squash. It will look to develop players so they can begin to play league level squash, enter junior tournaments and hopefully develop towards county squads. This squad will give juniors more access to 1-1 coaching and the ability to play matches with team players, so they can begin to understand the game at a higher level. If you feel that your junior would be interested in this squad, please drop an email to enquiries@cambridgesquashclub.co.uk.

Development Squad

Coming soon

These sessions give the skills to be able to move from being able to hold a short rally through to being able to play a competitive game. We look at technique, movement, shot selection, rules of the game and fitness. Part of this session every week is dedicated to competitive games. This group is split depending on ability to ensure the players can progress their skills.

Mini Squad

Coming soon

This session is aimed at those just starting in the sport aged 4-9. This is a fun session where children can learn general coordination skills and begin to learn how to start short rallies.
