Andy Bunting

By Bob Maison

Older club members will be deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Andy Bunting on Monday 25th March.
Those of you who were lucky enough to know him and if like me you were fortunate enough to be coached and inspired by him then you will already be aware of what a huge figure he was at the club and in Cambridgeshire Squash in general.
But he was also known on the world stage through his work with Prince and if you look on the SQUASHSITE Pages you will see an absolute outpouring of affection for him from a huge number of the world’s most well-known players.
If you had any lessons with me, I have no hesitation in telling you that all of the good stuff came to me via Andy – if you had a lousy lesson that was probably all my own doing!

The family have advised the Funeral details as follows It will be at Cambridge City Crematorium Huntingdon Rd, Cambridge CB3 0JJ at 1pm on Monday 8th April with a reception afterwards at Girton Golf club Dodford Ln, Girton, Cambridge CB3 0QE
