Dear All..please see the email below from the Cambridge Assessment Organiser

Please accept my apologies for sending this email to all staff, but it relates to a colleague, Seth Broadbent, who recently died, and was known throughout the organisation.

For those of you who were friends or colleagues of Seth, I would like to inform you of an event we have planned in his memory.

As many of us were touched by Seth’s kindness and generosity, we felt that there should be an opportunity for us all to remember Seth away from the sadness of his funeral. Seth had many interests, but one that he spoke about probably more than any other was his love of music. For this reason we have arranged for an informal remembrance/celebration to take place in the Junction 2 Bar on Monday 17th October from 6.00 – 9.00pm.

Seth spent many happy evenings at the Junction watching live music and so we thought it apt that the event should include a playlist dedicated to the music Seth loved, as well as a short Pop Quiz that we know he would have loved to take part in (and no matter what the questions are, he would have known all the answers!) There will also be the opportunity to make a donation to two of his favourite charities, the British Heart Foundation and the Alzheimer's Society.

Should you wish to make any suggestions for the evening’s playlist, songs that you know Seth loves, then please let Graeme Bridges bridges.g@cambridgeenglish.org  and/or Steve Crombie Crombie.s@cie.org.uk  know, and they’ll do their best to include them.

We look forward to seeing you on the 17th October.
